Solarvest Unit Bags MYR1 Billion EPCC Deal; Shares Rise 3%
Solarvest (KLSE:SLVEST) unit Atlantic Blue secured a 1.06 billion ringgit engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.Shares gained about 3% in Friday's afternoon trade.The deal, awarded by Malakoff's (KLSE:MALAKOF) unit Malakoff Silver Solar, covers development of a 470 megawatt alternating current solar photovoltaic plant under Malaysia's LSS5+ program in Perak, Malaysia.The plant is scheduled to become commercially operational by Feb. 29, 2028, the filing said.
