MISC's Profit, Revenue Surge in Q2
MISC's (KLSE:MISC) attributable profit shot up to 1.15 billion ringgit in the second quarter of 2026 from 464.4 million ringgit a year ago, according to a Thursday filing to the Malaysian stock exchange.Basic earnings per share came in at 0.259 ringgit from 0.104 ringgit a year earlier, the energy shipping company said.Revenue also increased to 4.79 billion ringgit from 2.72 billion ringgit a year ago.The company's board approved a second tax-exempt dividend of 0.08 ringgit per share in respect of financial year 2026, to be paid on Sept. 24.The maritime logistics and energy shipping company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
