Hartanah Kenyalang Unit Bags MYR284 Million Construction Contract; Shares Drop 5%
Hartanah Kenyalang (KLSE:HKB) unit Hartanah Construction secured a 284 million contract from the Sarawak Public Works Department to build Wisma JKR Sarawak in Kuching, Malaysia, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.Shares fell over 5% in Friday's afternoon trade.Construction is scheduled to begin on July 23, with the project expected to be completed over 30 months.The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets from the financial year ending Oct. 31, 2026, through the project's completion.
