Greentronics Technology, Others Form JV for Metal Recovery Business
Greentronics Technology (KLSE:GREENTEC) signed a joint venture deal with Achelous Pure Metal, and Achelous Greentech to develop a metal recovery business in Malaysia, focusing on lithium-ion battery recycling and related feedstock processing.Under the deal, Greentronics will hold a 60% stake in a newly formed JV company, while Achelous Greentech will own the remaining 40%, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.The JV will operate using recycling technology owned by Achelous HK+, supplying proprietary recovery processes, technical expertise and operational know-how for processing battery waste and related materials, the filing said.
