GIIB Holdings (KLSE:GIIB) signed a 10-year collaboration agreement with Zhisheng Rubber Technology for the manufacturing of masterbatch and rubber compounds, according to a Friday filing with Bursa Malaysia.The company said Zhisheng will install new high-tech, high-efficiency machinery at its subsidiary, GIIB Rubber Compound's facility in Malaysia at its own cost to support processing capacity.The installation will increase the plant's production capacity to 30,000 metric tons per year.Shares of the rubber compound manufacturer were down 6% in recent trade.

GIIB (KLSE:GIIB) unit GIIB Project Management & Capital signed a memorandum of understanding with Geely-owned Farizon and CAF Motors to explore developing and operating a centralized 4S (sales, service, spare parts and solutions) hub for Farizon commercial electric vehicles in Peninsular Malaysia.Under the proposed collaboration, Farizon will provide brand, product and technical support, while CAF Motors is expected to act as the distributor and GIIB PMC will develop and operate the hub, according to a Monday Malaysian bourse filing.The companies said commercial terms, including sales targets, margins and inventory arrangements, will be finalized under definitive agreements.

GIIB (KLSE:GIIB) has appointed founder Tai Boon Wee as chairman with immediate effect following a boardroom leadership transition, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.He will succeed Wan Adnan Bin Wan Mamat in the role, as the latter stepped down after overseeing a period of stabilization and governance reinforcement during a regulatory review involving the founder.Tai had previously stepped aside during a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission-related investigation and has now returned after being cleared of allegations, the company said.
