Farm Fresh to Raise Stake in Ice Cream Chain to 85%

Farm Fresh (KLSE:FFB) received a notice to exercise a put option to buy an additional 20% stake in ice cream chain The Inside Scoop for 50.8 million ringgit, according to a Friday filing with Bursa Malaysia.The dairy and beverage producer's purchase of around 174,618 shares will lift its stake in The Inside Scoop to 85% upon completion.The acquisition will be funded through internal funds, bank borrowings, or other fundraising.
