Camaroe to Evaluate Green Energy Solutions for Aquaculture Operations
Camaroe (KLSE:CAMAROE) signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) and Sustainno to evaluate renewable energy and smart energy management solutions for its aquaculture operations, according to a Thursday filing with Bursa Malaysia.The agreement is part of the aquaculture producer's Aquaculture Green Transformation Roadmap, which explores the adoption of solar photovoltaic and energy storage technologies.Under the framework, Huawei will provide technology through its commercial and industrial smart PV and energy storage system, while Sustainno will lead the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning side of the project.The 12-month MoU is non-binding and subjecte to feasibility studies, regulatory approvals and execution of a definitive agreement between the parties.
