International General Insurance Announces Launch of Cipher Cyber Reinsurance Platform
International General Insurance (IGIC) said Tuesday it announced the launch of Cipher Underwriting, a Bermuda-based specialty treaty reinsurance managing general agent focused on cyber.The Cipher Underwriting platform will be owned 60% by International General Insurance through its IGI Managing Agencies subsidiary, the company said.Cipher will target a global portfolio of cyber treaty business, with the commencement of its operations subject to regulatory approvals, including registration and licensing by the Bermuda Monetary Authority, it said.Price: $26.59, Change: $+0.10, Percent Change: +0.38%
