Cathay Financial's Vietnam Unit to Buy VND500 BIDV Billion Bonds
Cathay Financial (TPE:2882) unit Cathay Life Insurance Vietnam will buy 500 billion Vietnamese dong of 20-year subordinated bonds issued by Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, or BIDV,(HOSE:BID).The private placement comprises 500 bonds with a face value of 1 billion dong each, according to a Thursday Taiwan Stock Exchange filing.
