DPS Resources, BBSB International Unit Tie Up for Data Center Project
DPS Resources (KLSE:DPS) unit Shantawood signed a memorandum of understanding with BBSB, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed BBSB International (HKG:8610), to develop and lease data center capacity of up to 89 megawatts in Malaysia, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.The project is planned in four phases, with 20 MW targeted for 2027, 20 MW in 2028, 20 MW in 2029 and 29 MW in 2030.The companies may explore expanding the facility to up to 400 MW, subject to technical feasibility, regulatory approvals, and definitive agreements, the filing said.
