Zhongmiao Partners With ZhongAn Online on Insurtech
Zhongmiao (HKG:1471) has entered into a cooperation agreement with ZhongAn Online P & C Insurance (HKG:6060) to develop insurance products and digital insurance services, according to the Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.The companies plan to combine Zhongmiao's insurance distribution capabilities with ZhongAn Online's insurtech expertise to expand offerings across sectors including the digital economy, robotics, new energy and healthcare.Zhongmiao added that the agreement reflects preliminary intentions for cooperation and is subject to further formal agreements, which may or may not materialize.
