Sam Woo Construction Forecasts Higher Fiscal Year Profit
Sam Woo Construction (HKG:3822) expects a profit of at least HK$50 million for the fiscal year ended 31 March, compared with about HK$11 million a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.The construction engineering company attributed the increase to the efficient execution of its Lantau Island project, settlement of final accounts for certain completed contracts, and the absence of impairment losses on trade and retention receivables recorded in the prior year.
