Sunny Optical's 2025 Profit Soars 72%; Dividend Declared
Sunny Optical Technology (Group) (HKG:2382) recorded a 72% surge in attributable profit in 2025 to 4.64 billion yuan from 2.7 billion yuan a year prior, according to the firm's annual report filed with the Hong Kong bourse Friday.Earnings per share jumped to 4.2479 yuan from 2.4788 yuan in 2024.Revenue increased 13% to 43.2 billion yuan in the year from 38.3 billion yuan in the year-ago period, mainly due to a higher revenue contribution from handset, vehicle, and other products.The firm attributed the higher profit mainly to a rise in gross profit and a gain on a share swap transaction.The company proposed a final dividend of HK$1.2060 per share for the year.
