China Chunlai Education to Acquire Dublin Business School Owner for $127.5 Million
China Chunlai Education Group (HKG:1969) agreed to acquire Accountancy & Business College (Ireland), which operates Dublin Business School, from Kaplan International UK Holdings for $127.5 million.The acquisition includes the target company's entire issued share capital and related intellectual property, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.The Irish Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment confirmed on July 30 that the transaction does not require a foreign investment screening review and may proceed to deal completion, the company said in the filing.
