Bank of Tianjin's Profit Rises 2% in Q1
Bank of Tianjin (HKG:1578) posted net profit of 1.12 billion yuan for the first quarter, up 1.7% from 1.10 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.Earnings per share came in at 0.1809 yuan, compared with 0.1785 yuan a year earlier.Operating income rose 1.7% to 4.29 billion yuan from 4.22 billion yuan in the prior-year period.
