Mobicon Group Unit Acquires Johannesburg Residential Property
Mobicon Group (HKG:1213) unit MBM Properties (Proprietary) acquired a residential property in Johannesburg for nearly 8.3 million South African rand, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.The privately held residential property has not generated any income since its acquisition by the vendors in 2014.Seller Manuel Arnaldo de Sousa Moutinho is a member of the firm's senior management, holds a 39% stake in unit Mobicon-Mantech, and is a director of five of the company's subsidiaries.The other vendor, Anabela Diogo, is his wife, according to the electronic component distributor.
