Angang Steel's Losses Widen in Q1 2026
Angang Steel (HKG:0347, SHE:000898) logged 1.46 billion yuan in attributable loss for the first quarter of 2026, widening from a loss of 554 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.The steel company's Hong Kong shares fell nearly 4% in the afternoon trade on Thursday.Loss per share was 0.156 yuan, compared with 0.059 yuan in the prior year.Operating income fell over 12% year on year to 22.02 billion yuan, figures showed.
