Wharf Holdings' Profit Plunges in H1
The Wharf (Holdings) (HKG:0004) posted a profit attributable to equity shareholders of HK$48 million for the first half of 2026, down from HK$535 million a year earlier.Earnings per share stood at HK$0.02, compared with HK$0.18 in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.Revenue decreased year-over-year to HK$5.34 billion from HK$5.67 billion.The board declared a first interim dividend of HK$0.20 per share and a special interim dividend of HK$0.20 per share to mark the company's 140th anniversary.Total interim dividends of HK$0.40 per share will be paid on Sept. 15 to shareholders on record as of Aug. 31.
