Hayasa Metals Launches Drill Program at Urasar Project in Armenia
Hayasa Metals (HAY.V) is launching a drill program at its Urasar Project in Armenia, the company said on Friday. The 1,000-metre diamond drilling program will consist of two drill holes targeting the Oxide Basin and Silica West prospects. A drill rig is being mobilized to site with the first hole expected to be collared Friday, Hayasa said.Last month, the company completed a six-line, 53-station audio-magnetotelluric (AMT) geophysical survey at Urasar. Interpretation of the resistivity data identified several zones that could correspond to sulfide mineralization intersected in other drill holes, a statement added."The 2026 data set shows several near-vertical structures in the westernmost profiles that occur beneath zones hosting anomalous gold and copper surface geochemistry as well as strong to intense alteration. Now it's time to drill test these targets," said Hayasa president Dennis Moore.Hayasa Metals shares last traded on June 17, closing at $0.075 per share.
