Goldsky Resources Closes Acquisition of 55% Stake in Barsele Gold Project
Goldsky Resources (GSKR.V) has closed its acquisition of the remaining 55% stake in the Barsele Gold Project in Sweden, the company said Thursday.As a result, Goldsky has consolidated 100% ownership of Barsele. Deal consideration consisted of a cash payment of US$20 million, an issuance of 75.5 million Goldsky common shares to Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM.TO) and the grant of a 2% net smelter return royalty on Barsele to Agnico Eagle subsidiary Agnico Eagle Sweden.Agnico Eagle also received certain investor rights, but has notified Goldsky that it does not plan to exercise its board nomination rights at this time.Price: $3.20, Change: $+0.06, Percent Change: +1.91%
