Granite REIT Renews Normal Course Issuer Bid

Granite Real Estate Investment Trust (GRT-UN.TO) is renewing its normal course issuer bid (NCIB), the company said on Friday.The REIT may buy back up to 6.04 million of its units from May 26, for one year.Under its previous NCIB, Granite REIT bought back 237,536 units on the open market at a weighted average purchase price of $69.22.Granite REIT units closed up $0.82, to $94.62 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
