Fathom Nickel Completes Phase 2 Drill Program at the Gochager Lake Project
Fathom Nickel (FNI.CN) completed the phase two 2026 drill program at its 100%-owned Gochager Lake Project in northern Saskatchewan, it said Wednesday. The program, which consisted of nine drillholes totaling 3,174.5 meters, intersected two new zones of mineralization southwest and northeast of the historic Gochager Lake deposit, said the company.Processing of the drill core and final delivery of samples to laboratory will be on July 10, added Fathom Nickel. The company will report results once they are received and interpreted, which is expected by mid-August, said Chief Executive Officer Ian Fraser."The drill program was successful in identifying new zones of nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization across the 800 meters of strike length tested," Fraser said. "We are also very pleased that, due to recently implemented cost saving initiatives, we were able to drill approximately 1,000 additional meters as compared to the initial budget."
