FireFox Gold Adds Deeper Mineralization at the Northeast Zone and Extends the East Zone at the Mustajarvi Project, Finland

FireFox Gold (FFOX.V) reported additional assay results and observations from the ongoing drill program at the company's 100%-held Mustajarvi Gold Project in Lapland, Finland, on Tuesday.Drill hole 26MJ005 at the Northeast Zone tested for deeper extensions of a high-grade gold zone (first reported in 2021) and intersected 11.0 metres at 4.9 g/t gold from 301.5 metres downhole, said the company and added that the hole also hit several other lower grade intervals, opening the southern and deeper parts of the Northeast Zone for more follow-up drilling. In step-out drilling at the East Zone, drill hole 26MJ004 extended the zone by 50 metres to the northeast with intercepts such as 3.0 metres at 1.51 g/t gold, 4.3 metres at 1.5 g/t gold, and 3.2 metres at 1.12 g/t gold - all from less than 100 metres depth, it further noted. The company added three more holes with narrow lower grade intercepts from grid drilling on the south side of the East Zone, it said."FireFox drilling has also moved into the gap between the East and Northeast Zones, where two holes have just been logged, sampled, and sent for assay," said the company. "Company geologists have documented the presence of visible gold at a depth of 112.3 metres in one of these holes (26MJ012)."In 26MJ010, the drill encountered semi-massive to massive pyrite mineralized quartz breccia over 6.0 metres beginning immediately below thin glacial overburden, the company said and added that such quartz-pyrite breccias commonly contain significant gold at the Mustajarvi project."The Company cautions, however, that assays are not yet available for these intervals, so there can be no assurance of significant gold mineralization in these two drill holes," it stated."Our team is doing an incredible job moving the drill around the Mustajarvi property, both filling in the grid around the discovery zones and testing far flung exploration targets," said Carl Lofberg, FireFox's Chief Executive Officer. This work is part of the ongoing diamond drill program at Mustajarvi, which is expected to exceed 10,000 metres before the end of spring 2026, said the company and added that the program mixes infill and step-out drilling at existing mineralized zones and tests some new targets both proximal and distal to the main mineralized structures.

FireFox Gold Provides Update Agnico Eagle's Exploration of Kolho Property, Finland

Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM.TO) has completed about US$2.94 million of exploration expenditures on the Kolho property in northern Finland, FireFox Gold (FFOX.V) said on Thursday.Agnico Eagle has the right to earn a 51% interest in the Kolho property by incurring exploration expenditures totalling US$5.0 million before the fifth anniversary of the earn-in agreement, which was signed in December 2023. Of this, US$2.0 million was required to be spent by the third anniversary of the granting of certain permits. The 2026 diamond drilling program began in early March at the Rova exploration permit with two drill holes, totalling 464 metres. In mid-March the drill rig moved to continue drilling at the Hilla exploration permit to test geophysical and structural anomalies. The three additional holes at Hilla totalled 934 metres of drilling, a statement said."Agnico has established itself as the premier gold explorer and miner in the region, and we are pleased to continue our partnership at Kolho," said FireFox chief executive Carl Lofberg."It is significant that they have now completed two drill programs on the back of results from systematic BoT sampling and geophysical surveys. Much of the property remains substantially unexplored while occupying a very attractive geological setting. We look forward to the results from the ongoing program."FireFox Gold shares closed down $0.03, to $0.63, on the TSX Venture Exchange on Wednesday.

FireFox Gold Reported Remaining Results from 2025 Drilling at Sarvi Project in Lapland, Finland

FireFox Gold (FFOX.V) on Thursday reported the results from the remaining three holes of the 2025 reconnaissance drill program at the company's 100%-held Sarvi gold project in Lapland, Finland. The company said that the target concept for this small reconnaissance drill program was to examine interpreted regional scale structures cutting through discrete magnetic highs and magnetic gradients in the Keulakko permit on the western side of the project area. The company further said that drill hole 25SA002 was drilled as part of a northeast-southwest oriented fence testing a structural-magnetic corridor located 250 to 500m east of the GTK holes. It stated that the drill hole 25SA002 encountered a narrow gold mineralized interval yielding 1.0 metre at 2.68 g/t Au from 51.5 metres downhole depth. It added that the drill holes 25SA004 and 25SA005 were collared approximately 480 metres east from drill hole 25SA003. These holes were drilled in a fence towards the southwest direction and targeted interpreted regional scale structures, said the company and added that hole 25SA005 returned a single interval of low-grade gold. The company plans to follow up this scouting drill program with additional surface sampling, detailed geophysical surveying and drilling later this year. The company's shares were last seen unchanged at $0.64 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
