La Française de l'Energie to Buy Waste Treatment, Gas Production Plant in Norway
La Française de l'Energie (FDE.PA) said Friday it agreed to acquire household waste treatment and renewable natural gas production facility Romerike Biogassanlegg for 4.5 million euros.The plant, which has a capacity of 50,000 metric tons of feedstock, is located near the Oslo-Gardermoen Airport in Norway. The low-carbon energy production company will immediately launch measures to improve the plant's operational performance ahead of a planned production ramp-up by 2027.La Française de l'Energie said it expects the transaction to result in gradual value creation with a positive impact as early as fiscal 2027.
