Thales Launches EUR1 Billion Dual-tranche Bond Issue
Thales (HO.PA) issued a dual-tranche bond of 1 billion euros on Thursday, according to a Friday release.The two tranches, worth 500 million euros each, carry fixed coupon rates of 3.50% and 3.75%, with maturity periods of four and eight years, respectively.The defense technology company plans to use the proceeds to finance its planned purchase of French autonomous robotics and navigation systems company Exail Technologies (EXA.PA).
