ECR Minerals Expects First Ore Processing at Madden Gold Mine by End-September

ECR Minerals (ECR.L) said Monday it expects to begin ore processing from existing surface stockpiles at the Maddens underground gold mine in North Queensland, Australia, by the end of the month.The UK-listed gold exploration and development company, which holds a 50% stake in the Maddens Flat Group of Mines, added that development drilling and blasting on the mine's main decline and refurbishment of the existing processing plant are underway.Gold production from the newly accessed underground ore is targeted for the fourth quarter.
