EagleOne Metals Announces OTC Open Market Listing, Terminates Surupampa Deal
EagleOne Metals' (EAGL.CN) shares are now quoted on the OTC Open Market platform under the symbol EGLMF, the company said Friday.The company is also pursuing Depository Trust Company eligibility and plans to apply for an upgrade to the OTCQB Venture Market, it said.The company also decided not to proceed with completion of the proposed acquisition of the Surupampa Project in Peru, added EagleOne."After careful review, we concluded that maintaining financial and capital structure discipline was the most prudent course of action," said CEO Matthew Markin. "While we appreciate the efforts of all parties involved, we believe that not proceeding with the transaction at this time is the right decision for the Company."Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at C$0.20 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
