DATA Communications Management Renews Normal Course Issuer Bid
DATA Communications Management's (DCM.TO) notice of its intention to renew the normal course issuer bid (NCIB) with respect to its outstanding common shares was accepted by the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), it said on Wednesday.The notice provides that the company may, during the 12-month period starting June 12, 2026, and ending no later than June 11, 2027, buy back, through the facilities of the TSX, up to 4.2-million common shares, being about 10% of the "public float" of such common shares as at June 1. As at June 1, 56.2-million common shares were outstanding.Prior to starting purchases under the NCIB, the company also intends to establish an automatic share purchase plan under which its designated broker will purchase common shares within a defined set of criteria.Shares of the company closed down 1.2% to $1.65 on Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
