T1 Energy to Supply 641 MW Solar Modules to Clearway Energy
US energy solutions provider T1 Energy will supply independent power producer Clearway Energy (CWEN) with 641 megawatts of solar modules, made with domestic solar cells, it said Monday.T1 Energy will fabricate the equipment at its 5-gigawatt solar module facility. The first 2.1 GW phase of the plant is expected to produce cells in Q1 2027, according to the statement.Enhancing the traceability and reliability of the solar supply chain in the US, T1 aims to offer modules with domestic content exceeding 60% by 2027.
