CNX Resources Expands Radiation Monitoring Under Pennsylvania Transparency Program
CNX Resources (CNX) will expand its environmental monitoring and disclosure program in collaboration with Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro's administration and the state Department of Environmental Protection, the company said Thursday.The company will add continuous gamma radiation monitoring at select well pads and produced water facilities, with third-party data shared with CNX, DEP and the public in real time.CNX Resources will publicly disclose monthly updated radiation data for transported waste under voluntary measures exceeding regulatory requirements, it added.The company said it already conducts daily radiation surveys before waste is sent for disposal and will now publish the results, updated monthly, under the expanded program.CNX Resources shares were up 6.4% in premarket activity.
