Dutch Court Dismisses Shell's Antitrust Damage Claim Against Clariant
Clariant (CLN.SW) said Friday a Dutch court dismissed oil giant Shell's (SHEL.L, SHELL.AS) damage claim over the specialty chemicals company's alleged infringement of competition law in 2020.The Amsterdam District Court in the Netherlands ruled on Wednesday that it found no proof that the information shared among buyers, including Clariant, led to market harm or altered pricing metrics.The court also released Clariant from another antitrust liability sought through Stichting Ethylene Claims.
