Byrna Technologies to Acquire HERO Defense Systems for $1.25 Million in Cash, Stock
Byrna Technologies (BYRN) agreed to acquire HERO Defense Systems $1.25 million in cash and stock, adding compact everyday-carry personal defense products to its lineup.The consideration includes $625,000 in cash, $625,000 in restricted shares, and a performance-based royalty tied to future net sales of HERO products, Byrna said Wednesday in a statement.The transaction is expected to close within 30 days.Byrna shares rose 4.9% in after-hours trading.
