BW Offshore Bags Contract Extension for FPSO Vessel
BW Offshore (BWO.OL) secured a contract extension for its floating production, storage, and offloading, or FPSO, vessel BW Catcher with the Catcher field partners.The amended deal provides a defined end-of-term framework to Dec. 31, 2030, and removes the previous unilateral options for one-year extensions, according to a Thursday release.The offshore production services company expects the amendments, which are effective Feb. 1, 2026, to boost its firm's operating cash flow backlog by $490 million.
