Bonterra Resources Says Pelletier Resigns as CEO to Pursue Another Opportunity
Bonterra Resources (BTR.V) said Wednesday chief executive Marc-Andre Pelletier will leave the company, effective May 31, to pursue another opportunity.Board chair Cesar Gonzalez will serve as interim CEO and the board will work closely with management to ensure continuity during the transition, the company said.Pelletier agreed to remain engaged with the company as a consultant through Dec. 31.The board is launching a search process to identify a new chief executive officer and will consider both internal and external candidates, added the company."On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Marc-Andre for his many contributions to Bonterra," Gonzalez said. "We also appreciate his continued support through the end of the year and wish him tremendous success in his next chapter."The company's shares were last seen unchanged at $0.18 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
