Transrail Boosts Output Capacity at Silvassa Conductor Manufacturing Site
Transrail Lighting (BSE:544317, NSE:TRANSRAILL) has completed an early-stage expansion of its Silvassa site, boosting its annual conductor manufacturing capacity by 70%, according to a Monday filing with the bourse.The power infrastructure company said its production capacity for conductors, which are used for electricity transmission, has increased to 40,800 kilometers from 20,000 kilometers. Transrail expects further ongoing expansion of the manufacturing site to double the output from current levels.
