Hemant Surgical Industries Acquires Nearly 67% Stake in Lifesenz Cancer Research Labs; Shares Up 3%
Hemant Surgical Industries Ltd (BOM:543916) has completed the acquisition of a 66.66% stake in Lifesenz Cancer Research Labs for 199.8 million Indian rupees, according to a BSE filingon Tuesday.Lifesenz operates in the precision oncology and personalized cancer treatment segment, the company said.Following the transaction, completed on June 1, Lifesenz has become a subsidiary of Hemant Surgical Industries, the filing said.Shares of Hemant Surgical Industries were up nearly 3% in after-market hours.
