Parag Milk Foods' Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q4; Shares Down 4%
Parag Milk Foods (NSE:PARAGMILK, BOM:539889) consolidated profit rose to 322.4 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 262.1 million rupees a year ago.Earnings per share grew to 2.52 rupees from 2.10 rupees a year earlier, the dairy products company said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Friday.Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 9.45 billion rupees from 9.18 billion rupees a year ago.The company's board recommended a final dividend of 1.10 rupees per share of 10 rupees each for the financial year ended March 31.The company's shares were down nearly 4% in recent trade.
