Elitecon International Bags Contract Worth INR2.02 Billion to Supply Cigarettes; Shares Up 5%
Elitecon International (BOM:539533) has secured a long-term supply contract worth 2.02 billion Indian rupees from South Africa-based Bozza Tobacco, according to a Thursday filing to the BSE.The contract is for the supply of the company's cigarettes under the brand names Red and Black, B&W, Cape, Ossum, Golden Flake, among others.The order will be executed over two years.The agreement strengthens the company's presence in South African markets and is expected to contribute positively to business stability and long-term growth.The company's shares were up 5% in recent trade.
