Indian Overseas Bank's Consolidated Profit Climbs in Fiscal Q4
Indian Overseas Bank's (NSE:IOB, BOM:532388) consolidated net profit rose to 15.6 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 from 10.9 billion rupees a year ago.Earnings per share came in at 0.81 rupees from 0.58 rupees a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.Interest earned by the lender also increased to 84.9 billion rupees from 76.4 billion rupees a year ago.
