FDC Gets US FDA Nod for Anti-Bacterial Drug Cefixime
FDC (NSE:FDC, BOM:531599) has received abbreviated new drug application approval from the U.S, Food and Drug Administration for Cefixime for Oral Suspension, according to a Monday filing with the Indian stock exchanges.Cefixime is used to treat various bacterial infections.The approval has been given for the strengths of 100 mg/5 mL and 200 mg/5 mL of the drug.The company's shares were down nearly 2% in recent trade.
