Om Infra (NSE:OMINFRAL, BOM:531092) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a water resources project in Chhattisgarh worth 5.69 billion Indian rupees.The project involves construction of the Mohmela Sirpur Barrage and associated works, including a pipe irrigation network, on the Mahanadi River in Raipur district, according to a Tuesday filing on Indian bourses. The contract also includes operation and maintenance of the project for five years after completion of construction.Shares of the company rose nearly 4% in recent trade.
