Nelco Returns to Consolidated Profit in Fiscal Q4; Shares Jump 9%

Satellite communication service provider Nelco (NSE:NELCO, BOM:504112) posted a consolidated net profit of 10.9 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, returning from a net loss of 40.8 million rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Monday.Shares of the company Jumped over 9% in Tuesday's trade.Earnings per share of the satellite communication service provider stood at 0.48 rupees compared with a loss per share of 1.79 rupees a year earlier.Total income in fiscal Q4 rose year on year to 811.1 million rupees from 701.6 million rupees.The company also declared a final dividend of 1 rupee per share for the financial year ended March 31.
