Major Shareholder Trims True Stake by Additional 2.7%
True (BKK:TRUE) said major shareholder Charoen Pokphand Group (BKK:CPF) and its affiliates have continued to reduce their stake, selling an additional 2.706% of the telecom operator to UBS AG London Branch.The latest transaction follows a prior disposal of about 4.7% earlier this year, as part of a broader plan to divest up to 10% of True's issued shares, according to a Monday Thailand Exchange filing.Charoen Pokphand will sell the remaining 2.585% stake to UBS once administrative formalities are completed, while maintaining its position as a long-term major shareholder, the filing said.
