Gunkul Engineering's Units Sign Power Purchase Agreements
Gunkul Engineering's (BKK:GUNKUL) subsidiaries signed power purchase agreements for three renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 57.2 megawatts, under Thailand's feed-in tariff scheme, according to a Monday filing with the Thailand Exchange.The projects comprise two solar developments by Gunkul One Energy 5, which will be sold to the Provincial Electricity Authority, with commercial operations scheduled in 2027 and 2028.Meanwhile the third agreement is a 41.6MW wind project by Gunkul Wind Development 1, which will be sold to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand.Each agreement carries at 25-year term. Following the inclusion of the projects, the company's total equity installed capacity will increase to 2,121 megawatts.
