Better World Green Temporarily Suspends Operations in Hazardous Waste Landfill Section
Better World Green (BKK:BWG) is temporarily suspending operations only in the hazardous waste landfill section of its factory, effective Wednesday, following an order from the Department of Industrial Works, according to a same-day disclosure to the Thai stock exchange.The industrial works department has mandated that corrective actions be completed by Sept. 30.The waste management services company said it has fully complied with the order, which does not affect its other business operations.The company's preliminary assessment shows that the incident is not expected to have a material impact on the continuity of the group's overall business operations. However, it is assessing the potential impact on its financial position and operating results, it said.
