Blossom Gold (BGAU.TO) received approval from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for its previously announced Notice of Intent (NOI) for exploration activities on its Kamma Claims west of the Rosebud Project in Pershing County, Nevada, it said on Wednesday.The company is in the process of securing a reverse circulation (RC) rig and continues to expect drilling to start no later than the third quarter of 2026. It will also continue to map and refine the structural understanding of the area."With the NOI now approved, Blossom can proceed with the planned reverse circulation ("RC") drilling, beginning with eight drill site locations," the company said in a statement.Shares of the company closed down 0.8% to $2.39 on Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Blossom Gold (BGAU.TO) said on Tuesday that all initially planned metallurgical drill holes at its Rosebud Project in Pershing County, Nevada have been completed. The company is now selecting sample intervals to initiate metallurgical test work.Eight, larger diameter metallurgical holes totaling 4,000 feet (near 1,200 meters) of PQ core have been drilled, it said. The first five of several sample intervals have been received by KCA, the metallurgical services company, and work is underway to prepare samples for testing. Initial column recovery results are expected early September, continuing through the end of 2026, it added.The Rosebud Project currently hosts an inferred mineral resource of 70.755 million tons grading 0.62 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 6.49 g/t silver for 1.28 million ounces of gold and 13.4 million ounces of silver.Separately, Blossom Gold has filed a Notice of Intent with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for exploration activities on its Kamma Claims west of Rosebud Project in Pershing County. The BLM review and approval process is expected to take between 15 and 30 days, it said.Blossom Gold shares closed down $0.01, to $2.32 on Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
