AuMEGA Metals Begins Inaugural Drilling at Isle aux Morts Granite and Cape Ray West
AuMEGA Metals (AUM.V) on Tuesday said it started diamond drilling as part of its 2026 exploration program at the Isle aux Morts Granite and Cape Ray West along the Cape Ray Shear Zone in Newfoundland and Labrador.The program will test a series of structural, geochemical and geophysical targets and the initial drilling will test targets which have never been drilled before, said the company.The company expects to start drilling at Bunker Hill later in the summer once drilling at the Isle aux Morts Granite and Cape Ray West is completed, AuMEGA added."The objective of this initial drilling is to test the underlying geological concepts, improve our understanding of the area and determine whether these target corridors warrant more extensive follow-up," said Chief Executive Officer Sam Pazuki.The company's shares were last seen unchanged at C$0.035 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
