Odyssey Gold Intersected High-Grade Gold at Western Australia Deposit; Shares Up 3%
Odyssey Gold (ASX:ODY) intersected high-grade gold from reverse circulation drilling on the western side of the Cable deposit at the Tuckanarra project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.Drilling returned five meters at 16 grams per tonne grade of gold from 30 meters, including two meters at nearly 37 g/t grade of gold, nine meters at 6.8 g/t grade of gold from 99 meters, including one meter at 22 g/t grade of gold and one meter at 24 g/t grade of gold, and five meters at 6.7 g/t grade of gold from 18 meters, the filing said.The results will be incorporated into geological and resource models, with follow-up drilling planned to step further west and test extensions of the emerging lodes along strike and down-dip, per the filing.Shares rose 3% in morning trade Thursday.
