Fenix Resources (ASX:FEX) delivered a record 4.4 million wet metric tonnes shipped in fiscal year 2026 and 21 shipments totaling 1.3 million wet metric tonnes during the quarter ended June 30, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.The company shipped 2.4 million wet metric tonnes in fiscal year 2025, the filing said.The company anticipates generating total iron ore sales of 4.7 million tonnes to 5.3 million tonnes at a C1 cash cost of between AU$70 per wet metric tonne and AU$80 per wet metric tonne on a free-on-board basis for the fiscal year 2027.The forecast is consistent with the three-year production plan for fiscal years 2026 to 2028 and maintains cost guidance at fiscal year 2026 levels, per the filing.

Fenix Resources Secures Approvals to Develop Western Australia Iron Ore Mine; Shares Gain 4%

Fenix Resources (ASX:FEX) received regulatory and environmental approvals to develop a new iron ore mine at the Beebyn-W10 deposit in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.The state's Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation, and Safety approved the mining development and closure proposal and the native vegetation clearing permit for Beebyn-W10, while the Department of Water and Environmental Protection granted a prescribed premises works license to support an annual production capacity of up to 6 million tonnes at the Beebyn Hub.Beebyn-W10 is near the existing Beebyn-W11 iron ore mine and represents the next mine to be developed under Fenix's Weld Range iron ore project development plan, per the filing.The company said ore production from Beebyn-W10 is due to start in the current quarter, with the first ore on ship expected during the December quarter.Fenix Resources shares gained 4% in recent Monday trade.

Fenix Resources Partners Forms Iron Ore Product Freight Partnership with Dry Bulk Vessel Operator

Fenix Resources (ASX:FEX) partnered with dry bulk vessel operator Mira Bulk to form the Fenix-Mira Bulk freight partnership to target lower shipping costs for Fenix's iron ore products, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.Under the arrangement, the firm will pay market-rate commissions and will ultimately earn a share of the partnership's profits based on the shipped volume of its iron ore products.The partnership also enabled Fenix to secure $44 million in long-term funding facilities with Resource Invest, one of the joint owners of Mira Bulk.
