Forrestania Resources Secures Key Agreements Ahead of Western Australia Facility Restart
Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) advanced its Lake Johnston and Edna May processing hub strategy, securing laboratory, haulage and five-year sodium cyanide supply agreements while ordering critical mill liners and processing consumables ahead of the Edna May restart, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.The company signed a laboratory services framework agreement with SGS Australia and a haulage agreement with Campbell Gold Haulage to support ore transportation to both processing hubs and potential regional sourcing, per the filing.The company secured a five-year sodium cyanide supply agreement with Orica (ASX:ORI) for Lake Johnston, covering around 1,000 tonnes annually, with a minimum commitment of 5,000 tonnes and technical support, the filing said.The company also entered into an ore purchase agreement with First Au (ASX:FAU) to process up to 2 million tonnes of third-party ore over 24 months, supporting campaign-based processing at either facility and improving utilization of its processing infrastructure, the filing added.
